چکیده

Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) have the capability of reconfiguring wireless environment in a favorable way to improve quality-of-service (QoS) communications. This makes RISs promising candidate enhance vehicle-to-everything (V2X) applications. paper investigates spectrum sharing problem RIS-aided vehicular networks, which multiple vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) links reuse already occupied by vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) links. To overcome difficulty acquiring instantaneous channel state information (CSI) due fast varying nature some V2X channels, we rely upon large-scale (slowly varying) CSI order fulfill QoS requirements V2I and V2V Particularly, aim maximize sum capacity that are used for high-rate content delivery guarantee reliability exchange safety information. The transmit power vehicles, multi-user detection (MUD) matrix, links, RIS reflection coefficients jointly optimized, results mixed-integer non-convex optimization problem. tackle this problem, outage probability each link is first approximated introducing an analytical expression simplify formulated By leveraging block coordinate descent (BCD) method, considered decomposed into three sub-problems, whose optimal solutions provided independently updated alternately obtain near-optimal solution. Simulation verify theoretical analysis effectiveness proposed algorithm, as well unveil benefits enhancing performance

Qos-aware Spectrum Sharing for Multi-channel Vehicular Network

--We consider QoS -aware band sharing in cognitive wireless networks where secondary users are allowed to access the band owned by a primary network provider. The intrusion from secondary users to primary users is forced to be below the tolerable limit. Also, signal to intrusion plus noise ratio (SINR) of each secondary user is maintained higher than a required level for QoS cover. When network...

QoS-aware distributed spectrum sharing for heterogeneous wireless cognitive networks

Ubiquitous wireless networking calls for efficient dynamic spectrum allocation (DSA) among heterogeneous users with diverse transmission types and bandwidth demands. To meet user-specific quality-of-service (QoS) requirements, the power and spectrum allocated to each user should lie inside a bounded region in order to be meaningful for the intended application. Most existing DSA methods aim at ...

Intelligent and Predictive Vehicular Networks

Seeking shortest travel times through smart algorithms may not only optimize the travel times but also reduce carbon emissions, such as CO2, CO and Hydro-Carbons. It can also result in reduced driver frustrations and can increase passenger expectations of consistent travel times, which in turn points to benefits in overall planning of day schedules. Fuel consumption savings are another benefit ...

Multi-Channel Operations, Coexistence and Spectrum Sharing for Vehicular Communications

Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) has been allocated (3 in EU, 7 in US) dedicated channels at 5.9GHz for vehicular communications. Although resource allocations on the common control channel (CCH) reserved for safety-related applications have been well investigated, efficient usage of the other Service Channels (SCHs) is less developed. With new Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) ...

QoS Satisfaction Games for Spectrum Sharing -Technical Report

Today’s wireless networks are facing tremendous growth and many applications have more demanding quality of service (QoS) requirements than ever before. However, there is only a finite amount of wireless resources (such as spectrum) that can be used to satisfy these demanding requirements. We present a general QoS satisfaction game framework for modeling the issue of distributed spectrum sharin...
